Elisa is a highly influential curator and art historian, she is the President of ‘Vertical Art Cultural Association’ the Head of Cultural Heritage and Activities at the Palazzo Ricci Museum, and this is among the many more accolades to her name. Ascoli Piceno is one of Le Marche’s most elegant and artistic Cities, known for its Art museums and stunning travertine squares, and we invite you to get to know it through our latest boutique experience. The day consists of: 10:00am meet Elisa and any other guests (exact location given on booking receipt, and you can drive in or arrive by train to Ascoli Piceno station (link) depending where you’re staying) 10:30am The day begins with a Guided tour of the Picture Gallery; decorated with Murano glass chandeliers, the incredible gallery displays paintings by artists such as Titian and Carlo Crivelli. 11:30: Visit Sant’Emidio Church and the Battistero to see some of the finest mosaics in the world, and a surprise in the crypt! 1.00 pm Lunch at one of Le Marche’s most authentic and delicious restaurants: ‘Locanda Imperfetta’ 2.30/3.00 pm From there, take a stroll across the beautiful Popolo Square, seeing the Capitani Palace, San Francesco Church and of course, Caffè Meletti for a pick me up. 4.00 pm The final part of this day of culture is a guided tour of the small treasure trove; the Museum of Ceramics. 5pm finish, in time for your aperitivo!
